    Ya es oficial. 💥 Colour me Confetti ya está en YouTube 💥 Muchas me escribisteis por Facebook y al correo diciendo que no podíais ver los tutoriales de PowerPoint porque no tenéis Instagram (@colourmeconfetti). Así que... ¡ya tenéis todos los vídeos de mi IGTV en Youtube! Solo tenéis que poner en el buscador "Colour me Confetti" y os aparecerá mi canal y los tutoriales.

    ¡Hola, confettis!
    ¿Cuántas veces nuestr@s alumn@s nos piden que les pongamos vídeos en clase? Son generaciones que están acostumbradas a una gran cantidad de input audiovisual y muchas veces, tristemente, no lo reciben ni en la cantidad ni en la calidad adecuadas. Es innegable la gran variedad de canciones y vídeos informativos que existe en YouTube. Así que, he hecho una lista con mis 10 canales favoritos que utilizo en mis clases de Inglés y AICLE y que creo que su contenido es beneficioso para el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje.

    How many times do our students ask us to play videos in class? They're part of a generation that is used to a big amount of audiovisual input and, frequently and sadly, they don't receive it in the adequate amount and quality. It's undeniable the variety of songs and informative videos that YouTube offers. So, I've created a list with my Top 10 YouTube channels I use in my English and CLIL sessions that have meaningful content that enriches the teaching-learning process. 



    1. Super Simple Songs


    ¿Quién no conoce Super Simple Songs? Un clásico entre los clásicos. Sus melodías y sus gráficos hacen de este canal un lugar perfecto para buscar canciones que poner en el aula. Busques nursery rhymes, canciones sobre festividades, cuentos cantados... ¡ellos lo tendrán! Además, son los creadores del videoclip de Baby Shark que tanto nos "taró" la cabeza el año pasado 😂

    Who doesn't know Super Simple Songs? It's such a classic. Its rhythms and graphics make this channel the perfect place for finding songs to play in your class. Whether you're looking for nursery rhymes, songs about festivities, stories... they will have them! Plus, they're the creators of the Baby Shark video that got into our heads last year 😂

    2. PlayKids


    El canal de PlayKids tiene un poco de todo: canciones, tutoriales de manualidades, cuentos e historietas... Todas protagonizadas por un grupo de amig@s animales. En su serie Social Skills for Kids, trabajan las habilidades sociales desde el respetar las normas en los juegos hasta el evitar el acoso escolar. Además, sus canciones incluyen subtítulos con la letra a modo karaoke, lo cual es un plus.

    PlayKids channel has a little bit of everything: songs, craft tutorials, tails and stories... They all have an animal group of friends as their main characters. In their series Social Skills for Kids, they work on social skills from respecting the rules when playing to avoiding bullying. Plus, their songs include subtitles with the karaoke lyrics, which is a bonus.

    3. The Kiboomers


    ¡Otro canal de música para niñ@s! En The Kiboomers encontrarás canciones. ¿Mis preferidas? Las centradas en festividades, aunque también tienen muchas de conteo muy interesantes. Al igual que pasaba con Super Simple Songs, los gráficos son muy atractivos y el ritmo pegadizo, lo cual facilita su memorización.

    Another Kids Music channel! In The Kiboomers you will find songs. My favourite ones? Those focused on festivities, although they have some skip counting ones that are fun too. As it happened with Super Simple Songs, the graphics are super attractive and the rhythm is very catchy, which facilitates memorisation.

    4. Juny & Tony - Songs and stories by KizCastle


    Lo que más me gusta del canal de Juny & Tony son sus vídeos sobre los cuentos clásicos cantados y su serie Good Habits Songs sobre hábitos saludables. Pero no solo eso, también tiene nursery rhymes, canciones sobre Ciencias... ¡hasta dibujos dirigidos!

    The things I like the most about Juny & Tony channel are their story musical videos and their Good Habits Songs about healthy habits. But not only that, they also have nursery rhymes, Science-related songs... even directed drawings!

    5. Pancake Manor


    Pancake Manor es un canal con un montón de canciones. ¡Son la mar de cañeras! Además, mezclan marionetas con personas de carne y hueso. A mis peques les encantan. Mis favoritos son sus villancicos, pero tienen canciones sobre los colores, los números, nursery rhymes, el abecedario...

    Pancake Manor is a channel full of songs. They are such a hit! Plus, they mix puppets and people. My little ones love them. My favourite ones are their carols, but they have songs related to colours, numbers, nursery rhymes, the alphabet...

    6. PinkFong


    Los creadores de la canción Baby Shark con coreografía y... ¡superritmo! En PinkFong, aparte de a Baby Shark, podemos encontrar a Hogi, una detective que va resolviendo sus casos a la vez que nos enseña diversos conceptos. Otro de los plus de este canal, es que tiene los cuentos de siempre contados de una forma muy visual, que ayuda a entender la trama. Además, los dibujos son muy atractivos para el alumnado.

    The Baby Shark's coreography's creators and... super rhythm! In PinkFong, apart from Baby Shark, we can find Hogi, a detective that goes around solving her cases as well as teaching different concepts. Another pro of this channel, is that it has stories for children told in a very visual way, that helps children to understand the plot. In addition, the drawings are super eye-catching.

    7. Peekaboo Kidz


    Si puedo quedarme con algo del canal de Peekaboo Kidz es The Dr. Binocs Show. Ya os hablé de él en mi Instagram (@colourmeconfetti), y es que esta colección de capítulos es oro puro. Se centra en explicar distintos contenidos de Ciencias Naturales y Ciencias Sociales. Así, el Dr. Binocs va viajando por el planeta, por el cuerpo humano... ¡Lo que toque con tal de hacer atractivo el aprender curiosidades!

    If I have to choose something about the Peekaboo Kidz channel it's The Dr. Binocs Show. I already talked about it on my Instagram (@colourmeconfetti). This series is pure gold. It focuses on explaining different Science-related contents. That way, Dr. Binocs travels the world, the human body... Whatever it takes for making learning fun facts more attractive!

    8. Bounce Patrol Kids


    Es un canal que mezcla dibujos con personas de carne y hueso. En Bounce Patrol encontraréis numerosas canciones que trabajan nursery rhymes, los colores, la lectura, la comida... ¡Un poco de todo! Mis favoritas son sus canciones sobre... ¡las festividades!

    It's a channel that mixes cartoons and people up. In Bounce Patrol you will find songs that work on nursery rhymes, colours, reading, food... A little bit of everything, really! My favourite songs in their channel and the ones related to... festivities!

    9. Brain Candy TV


    Los vídeos de Brain Candy TV son más explicativos e informativos. Tienen vídeos sobre la mezcla de colores, experimentos de ciencias, las preposiciones, los cuerpos geométricos... Me encantan sus vídeos de Science, en especial los de cómo funcionan las cosas.

    Brain Candy TV videos are more explanatory and informative. They have videos on mixing colours, Science experiments, prepositions, 2D and 3D shapes... I love the Science ones, especially those that explain how things work.

    10. Cool School


    Si buscas vídeos de cuentos en inglés, este es tu canal. En Cool School tienen muchísimos vídeos de cuentos. Además, algunos están divididos en capítulos y son perfectos para trabajar la comprensión oral. También tienen a Super Drew, un superhéroe que protagoniza aventuras destinadas a salvar las celebraciones del año (Earth Day, Mother's Day, Christmas...).

    If you're looking for storybook videos, this is your channel. In Cool School you will find loads of videos about children stories. Some of them are divided into chapters and are perfect for working on oral comprehension. They also have Super Drew, a superheroe that stars adventures aimed at saving different festivities throughout the year (Earth Day, Mother's Day, Christmas...).

    ¡Hola, confettis!
    Las luces ya adornan nuestras calles y en clase ya tenemos el Modo Navidad encendido. Alguno ya está cantando "Mi Burrito Sabanero". Se ve que tiene ganas ya de que lleguen los villancicos, los Reyes Magos y las reuniones en familia. Y la profe no iba a ser menos. Así que, como ya hice en Halloween y en Thanksgiving, aquí os traigo mi Top 10 de canciones de Navidad para el aula de Inglés.

    Lights have taken over the streets and our classroom has already turned the Christmas mode on. Some kids are already singing "Mi Burrito Sabanero". We can all see they're ready for carols, the Three Wise Men and family gatherings. Even the teacher is ready too! So, as I did for Halloween and Thanksgiving, here I share my Top 10 Christmas songs for the English class.


    1. S-A-N-T-A

    ¡Nos encanta! Al más puro estilo de Ottawan en los 80 deletreando su "D.I.S.C.O.", llega Super Simple Songs deletreando "SANTA". En esta canción nos va describiendo físicamente a Santa Claus y señalando las prendas de ropa que tiene. Además, a medida que avanza la canción, va sustituyendo las letras de la palabra "SANTA" por palmadas, teniendo que ir aplaudiendo y estando atent@s en dónde toca decir letra y en cual dar palmas.

    We love this one! As if we were in the 80s with Ottawan spelling "D.I.S.C.O.", here it comes Super Simple Songs spelling "SANTA". This song describes Santa Claus physically and points at his different clothes. Plus, as the song goes on, the letters that "SANTA" consists of are replaced by claps, having to keep claping or saying a letter depending on what it appears on the video.


    2. 10 Little Elves

    Se acerca la Navidad y... ¡estos diez duendecillos no paran de trabajar! Contando de uno en uno, esta canción va narrando las acciones que los elfos deben hacer (coser, cortar...) para fabricar todos los juguetes que Papá Noel tiene que repartir.

    Christmas is coming and... these ten little elves can't stop working! Counting one by one, this song narrates the actions that elves must do (sew, cut...) in order to make all the toys Father Christmas has to deliver.


    3. Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer

    La canción de toda la vida que explica la historia de Rudolph. Los dibujos son muy sencillos pero muy atractivos para l@s peques.

    The classic that explains Rudolph's story. The drawings are simple, yet attractive for the little ones.


    4. Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer - Pancake Manor

    La misma canción que la anterior pero... ¡con mucha marcha! Además, salen unas marionetas la mar de simpáticas cantando. Si no conocéis el canal de YouTube de Pancake Manor, pinchad aquí para echarle un ojo, porque merece mucho la pena.

    The same song as the previous one but... a lot funner! Two puppets sing it and they are the cutest. If you haven't heard of Pancake Manor's YouTube channel, click here for taking a look, because it's really worth it. 


    5. Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree - Pancake Manor

    Otro clásico cantado al ritmo de Pancake Manor ¡supermarchoso!

    6. 12 Days of Christmas

    Se trata de una canción acumulativa en la que un caballero le va regalando a una princesa diversas cosas a lo largo de 12 días. El primer día, una perdiz; el segundo, dos tórtolas; el tercero, tres gallinas francesas... Y, cada día, se repasa lo que le regaló en los anteriores.

    It's a cumulative song in which a gentleman gives a princess a present a day throughout twelve days. The first day, a partridge; the second one, two turtle doves; the third, three French hens... And, each day, it goes through the presents she got the previous ones.


    7. Santa Shark

    Sí, aquí está otra vez. El pequeño Baby Shark se ha disfrazado de elfo y se ha puesto a diseñar juguetes en una cadena de montaje junto con otros elfos para Santa Shark. Todos juntos se ponen a repartir los regalos en Nochebuena para que todos los animales del fondo del mar se despierten con ellos bajo su alga de Navidad.

    Yes, here it is again. Baby Shark has put on an elf costume and is designing toys in an assembly line for Santa Shark. Then, all of them deliver the presents on Christmas Eve so that all the sea animals wake up to them under their Christmas seaweed.


    8. I'm A Little Snowman

    ¡Sacad vuestros gorros y vuestras bufandas! Llega el frío y la nieve y los necesitaréis para poder hacer que vuestro muñeco de nieve cobre vida.

    Get your hats and scarfs out of your wardrobes! The cold and the snow are here and you will need them in order to make your snowman come to life.


    9. Peekaboo Christmas

    ¡Cucú! ¿Conseguirás encontrar al gato? En este vídeo se presentan distintos escenarios navideños (salón con chimenea, jardín nevado, Rudolph sobre un tejado...) y deberás adivinar dónde se ha escondido nuestro protagonista gatuno.

    Peekaboo! Will you find the cat? In this video you will see various Christmas settings (living room with a chimney, garden with snow, Rudolph on a roof...) and you will have to guess where our little cat is hidden.


    10. Reindeer Pokey

    ¿Alquien se acuerda del Turkey Hokey Pokey? Bien. Esta vez es el turno de dos renos de bailar el Hokey Pokey, moviendo sus naricitas rojas y sus cuernos.

    Does anyone remember the Turkey Hokey Pokey? Well, this time it's two reindeers the ones who dance to the Hokey Pokey song, moving their red noses and their antlers.

    ¡Hola, confettis!
    Hoy vengo con un libro con pestañas perfecto para trabajar la festividad de Acción de Gracias. Se trata de Pete the Cat: The First Thanksgiving, un cuento de Kimberly y James Dean para trabajar vocabulario de esta fecha. A través de una obra de teatro, Pete y sus amig@s nos explican el origen de esta celebración y la necesidad de dar gracias. ¡Vamos a echarle un vistazo!

    Today I'm here with a lift-the-flap book perfect for working on Thanksgiving. It's called Pete the Cat: The First Thanksgiving by Kimberly and James Dean. It focuses on vocabulary related to this festivity. Through a school play, Pete and his friends explain the origin of this celebration and the importance of giving thanks. Let's take a look inside!


    ¿De qué trata?
    Acción de Gracias se acerca y a Pete the Cat le ha tocado hacer de peregrino en la obra de teatro del colegio.

    What is it about?
    Thanksgiving is coming and Pete is playing the role of a Pilgrim in the school play.


    El día de la representación llega y Pete se pone su disfraz. Es 1620 y es un peregrino a bordo del Mayflower que deja atrás Inglaterra en busca de una vida mejor en el Nuevo Mundo. Durante el viaje, hay un fuerte oleaje, así que muchos de los peregrinos enfermaron. ¡Solo tenemos que ir levantando las pestañas para verlo!

    The day of the play arrives and Pete puts on his costume. It's 1620 and he's a Pilgrim on the Mayflower who leaves England for the New World to build a new life. Throughout the trip, the sea was rough, so many Pilgrims got very sick. We only have to lift the flap to see it!


    Así, después de 65 días de travesía, llegan a Plymouth Rock, lo que ahora es Massachusetts. Todo el mundo tenía un montón por hacer: cultivar comida, encontrar comida, construir refugios... Fue un invierno largo y duro.

    After 65 days on the ship, they arrived at Plymouth Rock, what is now Massachusetts. Everyone had many chores to do: growing food, finding water, building shelters... It was a long and hard winter.


    Los peregrinos no habían conseguido cultivar comida con éxito, así que Pete va en busca de l@s Nativ@s American@s, de los que seguro podía aprender. De esta forma, se hace amigo de Squanto y de otr@s nativ@s, quienes les ayudan a cultivar maíz, judías y calabazas.

    Pilgrims did not get to grow food successfully, so Pete went looking for the Native Americans, as he was sure he could learn from them. This way, he meets Squanto and other Native Americans, who show them how to grow corn, beans and squash.


    Cuando llega la época de la cosecha... ¡los peregrinos tenían un montón de comida! Para agradecer la ayuda, invitan a l@s Nativ@s American@s y comparten sus alimentos en una gran comida.

    When harvest time arrives... Pilgrims had plenty of food! To thank the Native Americans for their help, they invite them to share the harvest in a big feast.


    La obra y termina y Pete y su familia vuelven a casa justo a tiempo para la cena de Acción de Gracias, donde cada uno dice algo por lo que está agradecid@. Por último, y como no podía ser de otra manera, el cuento termina con Pete preguntándonos por qué damos las gracias nosotr@s, l@s lectores 💗

    The play comes to its end and Pete and his family get back home just in time for Thanksgiving dinner, where each of them says something they are thankful for. At the end, as one would expect, Pete asks us, the readers, what we are thankful for 💗

    ¡Gobble, gobble, confettis!
    Al igual que he hecho en otras celebraciones, me gustaría compartir nuestras 10 canciones favoritas sobre el Día de Acción de Gracias. Ya sea para trabajar vocabulario, motricidad o ritmo, las canciones son un imprescindible a la hora de incluir la cultura en la clase de Inglés. Así que, ¡vamos a ello!

    Gobble, gobble, confettis!
    As I've done in other accasions, I would like to share our 10 favourite Thanksgiving songs. Whether it's for working on vocabulary, motor skills or rhythm, songs are essential when including culture in the English class. So, let's go through them!


    1. Turkey Hokey Pokey

    Como siempre, la primera es la favorita de mis peques y también la mía. Se trata de una versión del Hokey Pokey protagonizada... ¡por un pavo! Además de trabajar la motricidad gruesa, aparecen los nombres de las partes del cuerpo del animal. Todo ello, con el ritmillo que tiene, hacen de esta canción el hit de Acción de Gracias en nuestra clase.

    As always, the first song is my kids' favourite one and mine too. It's a version of the Hokey Pokey starring... a turkey! Apart from working on gross motor skills, the lyrics include the names of parts of the body of the turkey. Considering all of that, plus its catchy rhythm, this song is the Thanksgiving hit of our classroom.


    2. Thanksgiving Dinner

    Esta canción la ponemos de fondo cuando estamos trabajando a nivel individual o haciendo una manualidad y les encanta cantarla. Tiene un ritmo relajado y vocabulario sencillo y repetitivo, por lo que les resulta sencillo entender la letra.

    We play this song in the background when we're in table time or working on a craft and they love singing it. It has a relaxed rhythm and simple and repetitive vocabulary, so that it's easy for them to understand the lyrics.


    3. Little Pilgrim

    Narra brevemente la historia de Acción de Gracias y el por qué de la necesidad de dar gracias por las personas que nos acompañan.

    It briefly narrates Thanksgiving story and explains why we should be thankful for the people we share our lives.


    4. On Thanksgiving Day

    Al igual que la anterior, explica cómo en Acción de Gracias nos reunimos para compartir este día especial con nuestra familia y amigos.

    As the previous song, this one explains how, on Thanksgiving Day, we gather our family and our friends together for sharing this special day.


    5. Thanksgiving Feast

    Genial para aprender todo el vocabulario de la cena de Acción de Gracias: corn, carrots, cranberry, stuffing, mashed potatoes... ¡Viene acompañado de imágenes y subtítulos!

    Great for learning all the vocabulary related to Thanksgiving dinner: corn, carrots, cranberry, stuffing, mashed potatoes... It comes with images and subtitles!


    6. If You're Thankful and You Know It

    Versión de la canción "If you're happy and you know it" con temática Acción de Gracias. Trabaja distintas acciones que hacer con diferentes partes del cuerpo humano.

    It's a Thanksgiving version of the "If you're happy and you know it" song. It focuses on various actions you can do with different parts of the body.


    7. Five Little Turkeys

    En esta canción se presenta a cinco pavos que se están preparando para el Día de Acción de Gracias. En orden, cada uno va diciendo una frase que va rimando con las del resto. Es genial para trabajar los números ordinales.

    This song introduces five turkeys that are getting ready for Thanksgiving Day. One by one, each says a sentence that rhymes with the other ones'. It's perfect for working on ordinal numbers.


    8. Five Little Turkeys

    La versión de Acción de Gracias de la canción "Five Little Monkeys". En este caso, cinco pavos se van escapando uno a uno de la granja porque ven que se acerca el día y su integridad corre peligro.

    Thanksgiving version of the "Five Little Monkeys" song. This time, five turkeys run away one by one from the farm as they see the day is coming and their integrity is on the line.



    9. Thanksgiving Is a Wonderful Thing

    En esta canción se va relacionando los miembros de la familia con su comida favorita.
    This song associates family members with their favourite food.


    10. Over The River and Through The Woods

    En Acción de Gracias, un niño y una niña van en trineo recorriendo el bosque hasta llegar a casa de su abuela. Ella les tiene preparada una cena ¡de rechupete!

    On Thanksgiving Day, a boy and a girl take a sleigh and go through the woods until they get to granny's house. She has already prepared a delicious dinner!

    Hoy quiero compartir nuestro Álbum de Insignias Mágicas, un nuevo recurso de gestión de aula que hemos implementado este año y que nos está funcionando genial. Se trata de un sistema gamificado de lo que hacemos en el aula. Desde l@s encargad@s de clase hasta el fomento de una dieta saludable, todo está recogido en este álbum que nos durará todo el curso. ¿Le echamos un vistazo?

    Today I want to share our Magic Badges Album, a new classroom management resource we've implemented this year and that has turned out to be supermotivating. It's a gamified system of  things we do in our classroom. From class jobs to encouraging a healthy diet, everything is compiled into this album we will use throughout the whole school year. Let's take a look inside!


    ¿Qué es el Álbum de Insignias Mágicas? / What is the Magic Badges Album?

    Como si de cromos se tratase, cada un@ de nuestr@s alumn@s tiene su propio álbum en blanco. A lo largo del curso, y completando diversas tareas, irán ganando sus insignias mágicas. Así, conseguirán ser unos auténticos magos y brujas.

    As if they were collectible cards, each of our students has their own blank album. Throughout the school year, and by completing different tasks, they will earn their magic badges. That way, they will get to be authentic wizards and witches.

    Casas de Hogwarts / Hogwarts Houses

    La primera página se centra en su casa de Hogwarts. Como sabéis, este año hemos continuado con la temática de Harry Potter en el aula. Al comienzo de curso llevamos a cabo una ceremonia de selección de casas utilizando las bolas seleccionadoras (ver aquí). A medida que vayan cambiando de equipo y, por lo tanto, de casa, podrán ir coloreando la insignia de la casa correspondiente.

    The first page is focused on their Hogwarts house. As you may know, this year we've continued with the Harry Potter theme in our classroom. Back in September, we carried out a sorting ceremony using sorting balls (check these out here). As they change from one house to another, they will colour the corresponding badge of their house.


    Pandilla / Crew

    El libro de lectura que viene con la editorial de Lengua se llama "Pandilla de la ardilla". Trae 12 cuentos con sus correspondientes preguntas de comprensión lectora. Así, a medida que van leyendo las historias y completando las preguntas, van obteniendo las insignias de cada historia.

    The reading book that comes with our Literacy one it's called "The Squirrel Crew". It has 12 different stories with their corresponding comprehension questions. That way, as they read the stories and answer the questions, they obtain the badges for each story.

    Fruta / Fruit

    Con el fin de fomentar que traigan fruta para el recreo, llevamos un registro del número de días que traemos una pieza para comer. Cada vez que cumplimos 10 días trayéndola, podemos colorear una insignia, trabajando así las decenas.

    With the aim of they bringing fruit for the break, we keep a register of the number of days they have brought a piece. Each time they get 10 days bringing fruit, they colour in a badge, working on tens too.


    Habilidades mágicas / Magic skills

    Aquí recopilamos seis habilidades que nos hacen más independientes, respetuos@s y ordenad@s: atar cordones, cerraduras, orden del pupitre, abrochar el mandilón, reciclaje y abecedario.

    Here we include those skills that make us more independent, respectful and tidier: tie our shoelaces, locks, desk tidyness, buttons, recicle and alphabet.

    Sección prohibida / Restricted Section

    El curso pasado, teníamos implementado un sistema de carnets de la biblioteca (ver aquí). Este año los hemos eliminado y sustituido por insignias. Conservamos el registro de libros y, a medida que van leyendo libros, van "desbloqueando" niveles.

    Last year, we had an ID library cards system (check it here). This year, we have gotten rid of them and replaced them with badges. We still keep the same register for writing down the books they read and, as they do, they "unlock" levels.


    Nuestras tareas / Class Jobs

    Creo firmemente en el poder de asignar tareas individuales en clase con el fin de fomentar la responsabilidad, pues es labor de tod@s el conservar nuestro espacio de trabajo y aprendizaje limpio y listo para utilizar. Por ello, vamos cambiando los cargos para asegurarnos de que cada un@ ha sido responsable de cada tarea.

    I strongly believe in the importance of assigning individual jobs with the aim of promoting responsibility, as it's everybody's duty to keep our working and learning space clean and ready to be used. Thus, we change from one job to another for making sure each has performed every task.

    Tablas de multiplicar / Times Tables

    Al igual que antes utilizaba el pasaporte de las tablas de multiplicar (ver aquí), este curso lo hemos incluido en el propio álbum. De esta forma, pregunto las tablas hacia delante, hacia atrás y salteadas y van consiguiendo pegatinas que colocar en la celda correspondiente.

    Last year I used the multiplication passport (check it here), this year we've included it in this album. This way, I ask them the tables forward, backwards and randomly and they earn stickers they can place in each square.


    Robot Next 2.0

    Aquí os explicaba cómo tenemos robótica integrada en el aula. Los robots vienen con un cuadernillo de programación dividido en 9 niveles. Como en anteriores ocasiones, a medida que van superando niveles, irán coloreando las insignias.

    Here, I explained how we have robotics integrated in our classroom. The robots come with a programming booklet divided in 9 levels. As it happened before, as they go through them, they colour the badges.

    Artística / Arts and Crafts

    Cuando comencemos con el proyecto de los artistas, dentro de cada marco, harán un dibujo del cuadro más representativo de cada un@ de ell@s y escribirán su nombre debajo.

    When we start our artists project, inside of each frame, they will draw one  of their most representative painting and write the name of the artist under it.


    Inglés / English

    Por último, pero no por ello menos importante, la última página está dedicada a las festividades que trabajamos en Inglés a lo largo del curso, así como el manejo de las rutinas diarias y el abecedario.

    Last, but definitely not least, the last page is focused on the festivities we work on in our English lessons, as well as how they get along during our daily routines and the alphabet.


    ¡Eso es todo! Que no es poco. Es el primer año que utilizamos este álbum y, de momento, están muy motivad@s. Además, hemos notado un gran cambio en el tipo de aperitivo que traen para la hora del recreo. También están intrigad@s sobre lo que ocultan determinadas insignias y a nosotras nos resulta muy fácil ver de un vistazo qué trabajar con cada alumn@ y ver qué tiene completado cada un@ y qué no.

    That's all! This is the first time we have used this album and, for the time being, they are very motivated. In addition, we have noticed an increase on the amount of fruit they bring to class. They are also intrigued by what each badge is going to be about and for us it's easy to see what we need to work on with each kid and what they have already completed and what they haven't.
