Si hay algo que es fundamental en las Matemáticas, es el manejo de las tablas de multiplicar. Este año a l@s peques les ha tocado trabajarlas y, para ello, hemos utilizado diversos juegos y actividades manipulativas para entender el concepto de multiplicar.

Una vez que entendieron el concepto, nos centramos en la agilidad para dar respuesta a distintas multiplicaciones y, a modo de motivación, utilicé ¡el pasaporte de las tablas de multiplicar!

If there's something that is key in Maths is knowing the times tables. This year is my kids' turn to learn them and, with that aim, we've used various manipulative games and activities for getting them to acquire the concept of multiplication.
Once they understood it, we focused on achieving agility when giving the answer to various multiplication facts and, for motivating my students, I used the multiplication passport!
Mi compi Carmen vio cómo Mis cosas de maestra utilizaba un pasaporte para preguntar las tablas. La idea nos encantó, así que el año pasado decidimos crear el nuestro propio y... ¡no les pudo gustar más a los peques! Este año los hemos "remasterizado" al estilo Confetti y han quedado ¡súper chulos!

El pasaporte funciona de la siguiente manera:
↠ Tiene las 10 tablas y estas se preguntan hacia delante, hacia atrás y salteadas.
↠ El alumno viene a mi mesa y escoge la que me quiere decir (por ejemplo, la del 3 salteada). Yo se la pregunto y, si responde correctamente, se llevará un gomet en el cuadro correspondiente.
↠ El pasaporte tiene en la parte de abajo los números para preguntar las tablas salteadas ¡sin olvidarnos de ninguna!
↠ Tiene las 10 tablas y estas se preguntan hacia delante, hacia atrás y salteadas.

The passport works as follows:
↠ It has 10 times tables and they're asked forward, backwards and randomly.
↠ A child comes to my desk and chooses the one they want to say (for instance, the third one randomly). I will ask them that one and, if they answer correctly, I'll place a sticker in the corresponding square.
↠ The passport has at the bottom part the numbers for asking the tables randomly without forgetting a single one!
