Hoy os quiero presentar un juego que me regaló un amigo por mi cumpleaños y que ¡engancha! Se llama Checkpoint Charlie y su trama es la siguiente: en la Guerra Fría, la brigada canina está vigilando el Punto de control Charlie (Checkpoint Charlie). Cada perro es parte de una agencia de inteligencia distinta y todos quieren ser los primeros en encontrar al jefe de los espías gatunos, quien está intentando pasar al otro lado del muro de Berlín...

Today I want to show you a game a friend got me for my birthday and that it's addictive! It's called Checkpoint Charlie and its plot is: at the height of Cold War, K-Nine hound dogs are watching Checkpoint Charlie. Each of them is part of a different investigation agency, and they all want to be the first to find the chief of cat spies, who is trying to sneak across to the other side of the Berlin Wall...

¿CÓMO SE JUEGA?
Cada uno de los jugadores será un perro de una agencia de inteligencia que tendrá que averiguar quién es el jefe de los espías. ¿Cómo? Averiguando sus características:
- Con o sin sombrero.
- Con o sin periódico.
- Con o sin gafas de sol.
- Con o sin gabardina.
- Naranja o gris.
Cada jugador tendrá un chip de una de las características y deberá averiguar cuál tienen los demás y conseguir así elegir al gato jefe.
HOW DO WE PLAY?
Each player will be a dog from an investigation agency and will have to guess who is the chief of spies. How? Guessing his characteristics:
- With or without a hat.
- With or without a newspaper.
- With or without sunglasses.
- With or without a trench coat.
- Orange or grey.
Each player will have a chip with one of the characteristics and will have to guess which are the ones the other players have and get to pick the chief.
Para ello, por turnos, cada uno cogerá una carta de gato del mazo y la pondrá encima de su tarjeta de perro si cumple con su característica (por ejemplo, que lleve sombrero) o al lado si no la cumple (que no lo lleve). Así, mirando los gatos de todos, cada jugador deberá elegir un gato que él cree que es el jefe.
With that aim, in turns, each player will take a cat card from the deck and will place it above their dog card if it has their characteristic (for instance, wears a hat) or next to the dog card if he hasn't (doesn't wear a hat). That way, looking at everyone's cats each player will choose the cat they think is the chief.
Una vez cuatro jugadores hayan elegido su gato, se revelarán las características que cada uno tenía guardadas. Se mirarán los gatos que se han escogido y, en base al número de características acertadas, se repartirán estrellas amarillas, blancas o negras. Quien gane más puntos después de las rondas que estipuléis, ¡gana!
When four players have picked their cat, they will all show the characteristics they had hidden. They will check the chosen cats and, depending on the number of correct characteristics, they will earn yellow, white or black stars. Whoever gets more points after as many games as you want, wins!
