¡Cómo mola tu escoba! ♥ Room on the Broom

Hoy vengo con otro maravilloso libro de Julia Donaldson que seguro que much@s ya conocéis: Room on the Broom (en español, ¡Cómo mola tu escoba!). Este cuento es perfecto para utilizarlo en Halloween e introducir todo el vocabulario relacionado con esta festividad. ¡Veamos de qué trata!

Hello, confettis!

Today I want to share another wonderful Julia Donaldson's book that I am sure a lot of you already know: Room on the Broom. This storybook is perfect for using it in Halloween and for introducing all the Halloweeny vocabulary. Let's see what it is about!

¿De qué trata?

La historia tiene como protagonista a una bruja que, mientras volaba en su escoba, su sombrero cae al suelo.

What is it about?

This story has a witch as its main character. She was flying on her broom when her hat was blown off.

La bruja y su gato buscaron el sombrero pero no lo encontraron, hasta que un perro apareció con él en la boca y, amablemente, preguntó si había sitio en la escoba para él.

The witch and the cat searched for the hat but they did not find it, until a dog appeared with it in his jaws and kindly asked if there was room on the broom for him.

Pero, con el fuerte viento, a la bruja se le van cayendo más objetos, los cuales son encontrados por otros animales que también quieren su sitio en la escoba. Obviamente, esta no soporta el peso de tanta gente y... ¡se parte en dos!

But, due to the stormy wind, more of the witch's objects keep falling down, being found for other animals that want to take a sit on the broom. But, the broom cannot take all that weight and... snaps in two!

Todos caen y la bruja termina en las garras de un temible dragón pero... ¡no os preocupéis! Gracias al ingenio del resto de animales, la bruja consigue salvarse.

Everybody fell down and the witch ends up into the clutches of a terrible dragon but... do not worry! Thanks to the wit of the other animals, the witch managed to escape.

Finalmente, la bruja termina haciendo un hechizo con el que crear una nueva escoba que incluya un rinconcito para cada miembro del equipo. ¡Incluso el pájaro tiene su nido y la rana su bañera!

Finally, the witch ends up making a spell to create a new broom that includes a little corner for every member of the team. Even the bird has a nest and the frog has a bath!
