¡Hola, confettis!

Si hay alguien que me ha inspirado a empezar mi blog, han sido tod@s es@s fantástic@s profes-blogger que empecé a descubrir cuando estaba estudiando la carrera. Compartían ideas, actividades, juegos... y, a través de su blog, abrían la puerta a todo lo interesante que sucedía en sus aulas. Por ello, y para devolver algo de todo lo que me enseñaron y ayudaron, quiero dedicarles mi primera entrada y compartir sus blogs educativos (5 en español y 5 en inglés).

If there's someone who inspired me to start my blog, are all of those teacher-bloggers that I discovered when I was studying my degree. They shared ideas, activities, games... and, through their blog, they opened the door to every interesting thing that happened in their classrooms. Because of that, and for giving back some of the help they provided me with, I want to dedicate my first post to them and share their education blogs (5 in Spanish and 5 in English).

1. Rincón de una maestra

¡Empezamos fuerte! ¿Quién no conoce a Rincón de una maestra? Ángela es su autora y es maestra de Educación Infantil y Primaria. En su rincón comparte recursos geniales sobre cualquier asignatura, tema o idea que se le ocurra. ¡Es una maravilla! La empecé a seguir por todo lo que colgaba de Matemáticas y ABN, pero sus reseñas sobre cuentos y sus actividades para trabajar la lectoescritura son ¡la bomba!

Let's start strong! Who doesn't know Rincón de una maestra? Ángela is the author and she is a kindergarten and primary school teacher. In her corner, she shares amazing resources about any subject, topic or idea she comes up with. She's awesome! I started following her due to everything she posted about Maths and ABN, but her book reviews and her activities to work on Literacy skills are the bomb!

2. La profe Raquel

La profe Raquel no podía faltar en mi lista. ¡Hasta mi madre, que es PT, la sigue! Raquel es maestra de Educación Primaria e Inglés. Me encantan los recursos que hace para trabajar el refuerzo positivo, sus libros móviles, los juegos online que comparte... Además, ha diseñado un cuaderno de profe súper mono y útil para aquell@s que prefiráis la opción papel a la digital.

La profe Raquel is a must in my list. Even my mum, who is a SEN teacher, follows her! Raquel is a primary school and English teacher. I love the resources she makes for working on positive reinforcement, her flap books, the online games she shares... Plus, she has designed a super cute and useful teacher planner for those of you who prefer paper vs. going digital.

3. The Glitter Teacher

The Glitter Teacher fue el primer blog de profe de Inglés que empecé a seguir. ¡Y es que no es para menos! Remei es una teacher de Educación Infantil y Primaria que comparte principalmente recursos de Inglés, aunque también tiene de Science, Matemáticas, Plástica, Música... ¡Tiene de todo! Mis favoritos son sus flashcards, sus posters, sus recomendaciones de cuentos y sus "Thematic Thursdays". Todo cuidado al detalle y con unos dibujitos la mar de monos. Vamos, ¡que me quedo con TODO!

The Glitter Teacher was the first English-teacher blog I started following. It's no wonder why! Remei is a kindergarten and primary school teacher that mainly shares English resources, although she has Science, Maths, Arts and Music-related ones too. She has everything! My favourite ones are her flashcards, her posters, her story book recommendations and her "Thematic Thursdays". Everything is so thoroughly designed and includes adorable cliparts. In short, I'd choose EVERYTHING!

4. Aula PT

Aula PT es el blog donde Carmen sube infinidad de recursos imprimibles. Desde Educación Infantil hasta Secundaria, esta PT comparte actividades para trabajar multitud de áreas: desarrollo motriz, lectoescritura, cálculo mental, comprensión y expresión, juegos, vocabulario... Y, por supuesto, un montón de ideas para trabajar con alumn@s que presentan diversas dificultades en el aprendizaje.

Aula PT is the blog where Carmen posts a myriad of printables. From kindergarten to secondary school, this SEN teacher shares activities to work on multiple areas: motor development, Literacy skills, mental math, comprehension and expression, games, vocabulary... And, of course, a lot of ideas to work with students with learning difficulties.

5. Profe Miricleta

Míriam es la autora de Profe Miricleta, un espacio donde comparte de todo un poco, eso sí, todo súper útil y hecho con unos dibujos adorables que llaman un montón la atención de mi alumnado. Mi favorito son las fichas para fomentar la expresión escrita por las distintas temáticas que tratan (descripción, narración, reflexión...). ¡Imprescindibles en mi clase de Lengua!

Míriam is the author of Profe Miricleta, a place where she shares a little bit of everything and where every printable is super useful and has been created using fun clipart that catches my students' eye every time. My favourite are the worksheets to improve writing skills because of the various topics they deal with (description, narrative, reflection...). A must in my Spanish sessions!

6. Playdough to Plato

Malia y su equipo está detrás de Playdough to Plato, una web en la que comparte una gran cantidad de actividades que pone en práctica con sus hijos. Los recursos están destinados a alumnado desde Educación Infantil hasta 1º de Educación Primaria y se centran principalmente en motricidad fina, lectoescritura, Matemáticas y Science. Me encanta todo lo que hace, especialmente lo relacionado con la conciencia fonológica, la lectura y sus libros para primeros lectores.

Malia and her team is behind Playdough to Plato, a web where she shares a huge amount of activities she puts into practice with her sons. The resources are aimed at students from preschool to Year 1 of Primary Education and they focus on fine motor skills, Literacy, Maths and Science. I love everything she makes, especially those activities related to phonological awareness, reading and emergent readers booklets.

7. Easy Teaching Tools

Easy Teaching Tools es la página en la que Kristen comparte ideas rápidas y sencillas que hacen que mi vida de profe esté más organizada. Listas, folletos, consejos de organización, imprimibles... Todo listo para ser utilizado y evitar perder tiempo que se puede invertir en otras tareas de aula. Pero si hay algo que me gusta de su blog son dos cosas: su forma de exponer los trabajos de sus alumn@s y su decoración y distribución del aula (flexible seating).

Easy Teaching Tools is the page in which Kristen shares quick and easy ideas that make my teacher life way more organised. Lists, pamphlets, organisation tips, printables... Everything ready to be used and avoid wasting time that can be invested in other tasks. But if there's something I like about her blogare two things: her way of displaying her students' work and her classroom decor and distribution (flexible seating).

8. Easy Peasy and Fun

Andreja es la creadora de Easy Peasy and Fun, el lugar perfecto para encontrar cualquier manualidad, dibujo o página para colorear que quieras llevar a cabo en tu aula. Mi sección favorita es la de "How to Draw" (cómo dibujar), en la que enseña paso a paso cómo dibujar animales, plantas, estrellas... ¡perfecto para que los peques empiecen a manejar distintas técnicas!

Andreja is the creator of Easy Peasy and Fun, the perfect place to find any craft, drawing or colouring page you want to do in your classroom. My favourite section is the "How to Draw" one, where she shows how to draw animals, plants, stars... step by step. Perfect for getting little ones to start using different techniques!

9. Miss DeCarbo

Miss DeCarbo es el lugar en el que Christina, maestra de Educación Primaria, comparte recursos de lectoescritura, expresión y comprensión oral y escrita, Matemáticas, experimentos, pensamiento crítico... Mis favoritos son los de las festividades y las actividades para la primera semana de cole. Pero... ¡esperad! Christina no solo es profe y blogger. ¡También imparte talleres para profes por todo Estados Unidos!

Miss DeCarbo is the place where Christina, a primary school teacher, shares resources that work on Literacy, oral and written expression and comprehension, Maths, experiments, critical thinking... My favourites are the ones related to holidays and activities you can do the first week of school. But... wait! Christina is not only a teacher and a blogger. She also teaches teachers through the workshops she imparts all over the US!

10. Learning in Wonderland

Por último, pero no por ello menos importante, está Learning in Wonderland, el blog en el que Maribel sube imprimibles, comparte ofertas de Amazon en material escolar, cuelga fotos de cómo organiza su aula, DIYs para decorarla que hace... ¡incluso hace vídeo tutoriales! Es el lugar perfecto para coger inspiración para mi clase.

And last, but definitely not least, there's Learning in Wonderland, the blog in which Maribel uploads printables, shares Amazon finds, posts photos of classroom organisation, DIYs for decorating it... she even does tutorial videos! It's the perfect place to find inspiration for my room.
